Summer Crostata

6-8 Plums,nectarines or peaches,pealed and
cut into eighths
½ cup of crushed amaretti cookies
¼ cup sugar
A pinch of nutmeg or cinammon
1 tsp of butter
1 egg wash
Sanding sugar
1 -10”  inch round of pastrry dough

Place pastry dough on parchment lined baking sheet
Brush with egg wash
Sprinkle cookie crumbs over the dough.
Sprinkle sugar over cut up fruit
Add cinammon or nutmeg
Stir to mix
Place the fruit in the middle of the pastry dough
Fold all corners in towards the fruit.
Leave the fruit exposed in the middle.
Brush dough with left over egg wash
Dot the fruit with butter.
Sprinkle with sanding sugar.
Place in a 375 degree oven and bake 40-45min.
